From the Artist:
My pre-process consists of gathering information from the neighborhoods at large. I will walk, talk and engage people so that I can compile a rich and diverse dossier of gathered stories and information. I then translate this information into hieroglyphs that will be drawn over the surface of the buildings…I would like to have this work be a public reading by the kinetic, diverse, wily and changing populations of my beloved Brooklyn. The purpose of this project is to generate a renewed sense of public cohesion by creating an art intervention around this epic Flatbush crossroads.
